It's okay as a polisher, but leaks if you put water in it and try to use as a shampooer.

Cord is definitely not long enough. Handle is a bit weird for a heavier machine. Scrubs well

Team this up with a pet carpet extractor and you will have nothing but clean carpets in no time. May seem awkward to use two machines just to clean the carpets, but when you have had several animals running through the house (mostly cats) and don't take care of the carpets like you should, then using the two machines in tandem works really well. I did take off one star because of the frustration I had trying to put it together. But now it's together and I plan on using it to clean not only my carpets, but the kitchen and bathroom floors when the carpets are done. It will also probably get some frequent flyer miles as I take it up to my children's places to do a deep clean there.

I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this machine. It doesn't extract the dirty water from the floor, but it does ALL the scrubbing for you! I'm so happy I purchased this floor scrubber. :)

My second one as first one lasted about 5 years. I like it so much I thought it is worth buying again. Really gets out the stains.

The manufacturing of this product is flimsy and cheap. The control knob that turns it on/off doesn't stay fastened to the main vertical handle. While in use normal reclining of the vertical handle past more than a few degrees starts to lift the scrubbers off the floor. I only used the item one time over a two hour job for carpet cleaning. I will note the power of the scrub pads did seam adequate for a carpet and I only used power level one , the lowest setting, used for carpets. So I seems a little unfair to give this item a one star , The manufacturing and ergonomics are my main complaints. However, I would return the item for a refund but didn't actually get to use it for the first time until it was past the free return date.

This is a German favorite taken over by Mexicans (the Germans have full confidence in the Mexicans viz VWs) to keep prices down I’ve had both products. They work forever and work well on rugs

I like the item but I have had a leaking issue from the plastic water storage since the first day. I have to remove it from the machine and lay it on its side so I don’t get water everywhere

This is a light durable machine. It really scrubs on the carpet. Has a strong motor which I was looking for. Next I am gonna take it to the roof of my 5th wheel trailer to scrub the dirt off that rubber roof. I hate when it rains and dark streaks begin to be seen on the side walls. This should do a fantastic job cleaning that roof....cause anyone that tried to clean the roof with a water hose and a shop broom knows... that sucks.

Brushes work well. The piece that holds the tank actually doesn't. So when you pull trigger to release the cleaning solution, sometimes it lifts the pin and it works however sometimes it just unseats the tank and nothing comes out. Really bad design.

Didn't think they made these anymore. This works great on my deck. Doesn't tear it up like a power washer. Cleaned it really well! So happy I found this! I would have given it 5 stars but the top doesn't fit snuggly and it tips over easily. It's worth the small annoyances. :)

Great concept. Terrible design.Its like some cheap prototype from the 70s. The tank doesnt stay on. JunkPutting it together, although not hard, makes you instantly question this things durability.The plastic on the machine is super cheap and you have to slide this cap (thats supposed to keep the tank on) up and down the length of then pole (super annoying). JunkYou try ro transport this thing tank falls off especially when its full. JunkYou do not get all the pads available which sucks because that would he a huge plus.Operation is effortless. You will splatter solution all over but so far the scrubbing bristle attachment works pretty good.I am very curious to see how the other heads work.It coukd be awesome if the design was better. Because of the cheap build and the hassle its not worth the price point.

This was an open box item and probably something I will not do again. The unit itself self is new with all items in the picture, but it had none of the screws to put it together so the money saved was wasted on buying parts to make it usable. Very disappointed! Between gas, time, and money spent I should’ve bought the other. These units are good and work really well

The bristle brushes are great for scrubbing the uneven surface of my slate floor. The liquid dispenser is poorly made and doesn’t work.

The polisher is, in essence, what I wanted but it has major limitations. First, it costs 175% more than my H**v*r carpet cleaner but is quite difficult to use:1) this scrubber/polisher only has one handle so it spins out of control because there’s nothing (another hand) to counterbalance it; 2) the controls (spray and on/off switch) are very inconveniently placed on one side; 3) switches seem super flimsy; 4) there’s no extraction component so I had so get on my hands and knees to mop up the cleaning fluid after scrubbing (the reason for the machine was to keep me off the floor) and to rinse after cleaning (required before the new floor polish was mopped on). There may be additional drawbacks but these are my main complaints. I use my H**v*r regularly and didn’t want to take a chance on ruining it using harsher chemicals necessary to remove old “wax” from my very old linoleum tile. Btw, the other machines I saw on Amazon were cheaper but didn’t do what I needed. This seemed to be the best solution. I guess I’ll be back on my hands and knees…PLEASE, if anyone knows of a good machine to be used quarterly (or less!) and is less than $300, I’d appreciate knowing about it!

The travertine floor is in the kitchen (bad idea - I know) but it's very pretty when it's clean. The tile has a natural textured surface so I wasn't too worried about scratches. Just wanted it clean. The hard brushes did great to lift the dirt from the natural grooves and grout. Also used a Bissell floor cleaner to vacuum the dirty water and rinse the floor which worked much better than a mop. For tough areas, I let the solution sit for a while to soften the dirt and grime. The scrubber did all the work - no hand scrubbing the grout! I think the process probably stripped most of the sealer from the floor but its clean enough to seal again. The only negative - the tank leaked when I set it aside to the let water soften the dirt, but I'm willing to put up with a few leaks to avoid hand scrubbing the kitchen floor.

First let me clarify my following statements. I used to own a machine similar to this many years ago, It had the Kenmore brand on it.I would have given it 5 stars except for the following two reasons.1) Attachment points for the brushes should be made sturdier2) Attachment materials and method for the buffing and scrubbing pads are of lower quality than I would have liked.3) The included buffing pads are kind of flimsy and synthetic foam back stuff. Low grade.I put the machine together and started scrubbing floors. Everything worked very well as I remember the Kenmore. I stripped the old wax off of the floors and put down fresh wax. Looks great.I strongly recommend the machine based on initial experience. No problem with dispensing solution. Plenty of power to scrub. Very pleased over all.I used my scrubber again today. I scrubbed my kitchen floor and put three coats of high gloss wax down. Everything looks great. The only thing that I have found at all disappointing about this machine, the accompanying scrubbing pads. They are okay but not great. After using them to my bathroom and then my kitchen one of them the whole is stretched out and I will have to get another set.Having had experience with a similar machine one of the things I've noticed with people complaining about the unit scrubbing oh, I think it's because you're not wetting the floor enough. I am not talking about carpet. I am strictly talking about hard surface floors. You need to make sure you have plenty of solution down before you even turn the machine on. What I do when I'm all set to begin scrubbing I pulled the trigger to dispense solution and let it run for about 30 seconds or so and then I turn the unit on. I don't let up on the trigger or the solution release until I have a good amount on the floor where I am scrubbing. Another thing you can do to improve your results is to keep a bucket of clean hot water and an old-fashioned stranded mop nearby. Do not let the dirty solution dry onto the floor! If you do that it will stick and you'll either have a dirty spot or you will have to scrub that area again. When I scrub I rinse my floors with clean hot water three times. I let it dry thoroughly and then I apply the wax or whatever I need to put on the floor. This is what works for me. I hope this helps others that are puzzling over how to use this archaic old style machine to get a better experience and the four use of their machine. If you using a scrub pad or anything like that and it starts punching up your floor is too dry. That's the key.

Have been trying to find a good hard floor and carpet cleaner combo and have thus far been unsuccessful. I have ordered, tried and returned all of the reasonably priced consumer models--each for different reasons. The Koblenz is a solid machine, very easy to assemble, and the scrubbing brushes and carpet brushes are good. I tried this on both my carpet and kitchen floor. I started with the carpet, using the scrubbers and solution they provide specific to the carpet. I filled the solution holder full and started cleaning, pulling the trigger to release the liquid as I thought it was needed. After about 10 minutes of moving the carpet cleaner around the carpet, I looked down and the entire canister of solution was empty. I have an oriental carpet I was cleaning so I didn't notice how wet was it was getting but the spray and release mechanism didn't work and basically dumped all the liquid, saturating my carpet. I blotted a lot of it up. The carpet did dry and did look a lot cleaner so it worked, just not how I expected. I tried to fix the mechanism and changed scrubbers and cleaners to hard floor cleaning to try the machine on my kitchen floor but again, within 10 minutes of scrubbing my tile floor, the entire canister of cleaning fluid had dumped on my kitchen floor. The upside is that the scrub brushes, ease of assembly and use, and the light "floating" action of the machine when on are all great. The kitchen tiles and carpet were cleaner. The downside, aside from the machine arriving broken, is that there is no way to suck up the water from the tile floor after scrubbing so then one has to mop afterward. Too much work! I would love a machine like this one that also sucks up the dirty water into a separate canister. I tried the models that claim to do this, but they suck as you clean which doesn't allow enough water to get onto the floor to actually clean it. A machine should scrub first then have a mechanism to switch on to pull up the water.
